EchoPark Automotive is a preowned dealership that offers an excellent training, growth opportunity as well a fun work environment. EchoPark Automotive is owned by Sonic Automotive, a fortune 300 company. The EchoPark Inventory/QC associate is responsible for the timely, safe and secure placement of vehicles throughout the facility. In addition to moving vehicles to and from the service lane, service department, reconditioning center and inventory area, the photo booth associate is also responsible for operating the cameras and uploading photos to the EchoPark website. Inventory associates must always be safety conscious as they make many vehicle trips in an environment that encourages guests to roam freely without supervision. Because of this, Inventory associates will frequently interact with guests and may be the only EchoPark associate a guest speaks with during their tour of the lot. The EchoPark shopping experience lets the guest lead the process - whether it begins with viewing inventory, having their car appraised or being reunited with their car following a service appointment, the Inventory associate must be agile and attentive to support this guest-directed process.

Essential Functions -

  • Treat the guest as you would a guest in your home - always
  • Identify ways to surprise and delight the guest
  • Answer guest questions, accurately, openly, honestly
  • Work with other team members to problem solve in order to efficiently address a guests needs
  • Be open minded and stay ready to continually innovate
  • Accept and embrace all responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Assignments -

  • Quickly and efficiently photograph vehicles and load photos to the EchoPark website
  • Maintain cameras and other AV equipment
  • Keep vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
  • Maintain vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles
  • Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
  • Clean driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary
  • Take pride in work products
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Follow directions without supervision
  • Prioritize and complete multiple assignments within a days work
  • Works in all weather conditions
  • Maintains a neat and professional appearance
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor

Minimum Qualifications -

  • Ability to follow directions, anticipate business needs and execute with a high degree of accuracy
  • Experience using good problem-solving skills, and taking the initiative to think critically to identify improvement opportunities
  • Ability to take ownership of the details - large and small
  • Decision making that demonstrates good judgment
  • Have a clean motor vehicle record and clean criminal background record

Desired Experience -

  • Inventory management and merchandising experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
