At CVS Health, you can put your skills and interests to work by joining our Client Value Optimization, Profitability Management group. You will support the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) business as part of our broader Client Financial Analysis and Proposals department. You will be directly involved in improving client financial performance.
In this high impact role, you will be an individual contributor focused on financial variance analysis, identifying client specific improvement opportunities and helping to drive implementation of appropriate strategies that will create a meaningful financial benefit. The financial monitoring of current PBM client financial performance will span many channels (rebates, network, and specialty) and areas of our business. Youll be collaborating with and influencing many groups within our company (Specialty, Retail, Clinical Ops, IT, Product Development, Finance, Trade, Sales & Account Management) to help drive opportunities through to execution.
Additionally, you will:
-Be responsible for conducting financial variance analysis and identifying issues in order drive towards margin enhancing solutions
-Work with pharmacy claim data to understand root causes of specific client issues
-Access and manipulate large datasets using Excel, SQL(SAS/Teradata) and similar tools
-Support complex projects related to a wide variety of financial, utilization, and operational business needs.
-Assist in coordinate efforts across company teams that can include Specialty, Retail, Clinical Ops, IT/TI, Product Development, Finance FP&A, Trade and account management to identify and implementation of solutions
In this role, you will be an integral member of the team. Your success will be driven by your ability to interact with others in a collaborative and professional manner and help foster teamwork and knowledge sharing to complete key tasks. Your experience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing large data sets and then using it to draw conclusions will also be key. Your strong presentation skills, aptitude to communicate complex findings and conclusions in an easy to understand way, as well as your ability to manage tight deadlines and competing priorities will also contribute to your success.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 60,300
Maximum: 126,600
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in financial analysis, analytics or variance analysis
- Experience in Microsoft Excel-based modeling

Preferred Qualifications
- PBM or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
Education
- Bachelors degree required; degree related to finance, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics or other finance related fields preferred.
