Position Summary |
The University of New Mexico-Taos Student Affairs Department is looking for a highly motivated Financial Aid Officer to join our team! The Financial Aid Officer will meet with UNM-Taos new and continuing students and evaluate, approve, and award financial aid in accordance with Federal, State, and University regulations, policies, and operating guidelines. This position is essential in providing financial aid guidance and counseling regarding available financial aid opportunities to students and their families. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with the ability to independently manage projects while contributing to team goals. Strong analytical, communication, professional and computer skills are essential to success in this role. This position is a term assignment until 06/30/2025. Continuance beyond this time is dependent on department need.

Minimum Qualifications |
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
