As a member of the Pharmacy Operations Analytics team you will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of operational solutions aimed to improve claim level margins. The Financial Analyst Advisor - Pharmacy Operations will be responsible for analyzing script data to understand dispensing patterns and payer reimbursement rates with the objective of driving gross margin through improved reimbursement. In this role, you will enable data-driven strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for existing product improvement and new product development. The result of this ongoing work will look to impact the claim margin across our 1 billion prescriptions annually.

The Financial Analyst Advisor position requires strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills to be able to influence our store teams and internal business partners. This position will routinely interact with the following groups: Pharmacy Operations, Payer Relations, and Contracting. The candidate must also possess the ability to think creatively, be a self-starter with limited guidance and coaching, and to proactively develop and present potential solutions.

* Create solid business cases that determine the value and risks associated with new opportunities and refinement of existing, strategically employing data analysis to discover new opportunities and monitor existing projects
* Prioritize, structure timelines, develop project plans, align stakeholders across multiple groups, and incorporate feedback into active workstreams
* Prepare materials and presentations in a way that can be easily understood by others who may not have the same background or expertise
* Engage with cross-functional groups in the development of new processes and resolve issues encountered by the team
* Act as a thought-partner for business stakeholders as they determine how to best improve our operations processes

Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of analytical experience within pharmacy, healthcare, managed care, or related field
* 3+ years of experience financial modeling and/or pricing analytics experience
* 2+ years of experience communicating complex technical subjects to non-technical audiences via both written and oral communication
* 2+ years of experience using advanced Excel, Access or PowerPoint skills

Preferred Qualifications
* Data mining and data manipulation
* Experience in SQL script writing and PowerBI development and design
* Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
* High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments
* Experience in documenting requirements and summarization
* Experience with administrative claims data such as pharmacy or medical claims
* Ability to travel up to 5% of the time, as needed, per business needs

Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
