Firefighter EMT License Required $18.84/hr.
Allied Universal is seeking a Firefighter EMT Officer. Our staff allow us to contribute to our companys core purpose of providing unparalleled service, systems and solutions to serve, secure and care for the people and businesses of our communities.
The Firefighter EMT is responsible for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. The Firefighter EMT acts as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions, as well as detects and reports suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts, which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the site.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
Valid guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying.
As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
Qualifications:
o Wildlands Firefighter Certificate (Min. Reqs: S-110, S-130, S190)
o EMT Certification (California EMSA)
o First Aid/CPR/AED For Healthcare Provider
o BSIS California Guard Card
o BSIS California Exposed Gun Permit (Desired)
o California Drivers License must have clean driving record (no points in prior 3 years), minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and ability to safely operate a vehicle required
o Hazardous Materials First Responder Operations
o Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
o Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
o Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
o Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
o Open to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and frequent overtime

o Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
o Safely respond to emergency incidents, fight fires, mitigate hazardous material incidents, rescue trapped persons in confined spaces, and administer basic life support (BLS) treatment.
