Large minority owned law firm specializing in insurance defense is seeking a strong legal assistant with at least 1 year of prior first party property experience to join our first property practice group. This position will be remote until we return to the office.

Qualified applicants will have the following:

1+ years' previous litigation experience working in insurance defense and/or first party property defense

Litigation experience including trial preparation and support

Proficiency in Word as well as proof reading, typing, editing, redlining documents, and working in our case management system (Prolaw)

Experience with heavy calendaring/scheduling

Ideal candidates must be organized, reliable, and attentive to detail. Candidates must be able to take initiative, have effective communication skills, a strong work ethic, and thrive in a fast paced litigation environment.
