Position Summary

UNM Facilities Management (FM) has a greatopportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a FiscalServices Tech in FM Finance & Services. The qualified candidate will assistin maintaining records of fiscal and budgetary controls, ledgers, and/or otherrelated transactions, in either direct or indirect support of accountants oradministrators. Processes routine financial documents and fund transactions,reconciles financial records, and analyzes routine financial data. Assists inthe development, coordination, and maintenance of unit budgets, as appropriate.May serve as unit requisitioner or initiator of financial transactions. Distributes periodic financial reports, maintains physicalinventories, and assists with other clerical functions as required. This position serves as a timekeeper thatassists with entering, reviewing, and approving time payroll.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in inventory management.
  • Ability to perform repetitive taskswith efficiency and accuracy.
  • Previous experience withPayroll Entry/ Kronos (Lobotime).
  • Experience in purchasing, p-cards.
  • Invoice and purchasing orderreconciliations.
  • Knowledge of UNM softwareapplications (LoboMart, ChromeRiver, Banner).
  • Experience processing, tracking andreconciling university accounts and financial transactions.
