Job Description
Performs monthly close, forecast and budget financial activities for Aetna Medicares Part D products, serving 5.7 million members. Responsibilities include compiling and analyzing large amounts of data necessary to complete monthly financial close as well as several iterations of planning, forecasting and assistance with components of bid preparation each year. Given stringent and complex Medicare regulations, must be able to deliver accurate numbers, maintain strong documentation and evaluate reasonability of results. Must be able to contribute to the completion of ad hoc projects. Also required to perform ad hoc annual financial activities to satisfy other CMS and regulatory requirements as well as cross collaboration with Accounting, Regulatory and Actuarial teams.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 40,560
Maximum: 81,100

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
-1+ years of professional experience, including internships

Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years of finance and/or accounting experience
Skilled in Excel
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data into concise analytical reports
Work independently with other functional areas to compile information
Develop an understanding and utilize multiple systems (S4, Hyperion, SAS, Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams)

Education
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
