THE DURATION OF THIS GIG IS: 4 -5 weeks
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for creating a system to analyze and report insights on large data sets. Success for this position is measured by the ability to identify exceptions and variances within a dataset, and then provide recommendations based on these findings. As a Data Analyst, you will also be expected to assess the accuracy and consistency of information within the dataset. An ideal candidate is detail oriented, will have experience working with large datasets, and will be able to communicate key findings to key stakeholders.
Candidate experience should include:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, or other quantitative discipline.
- 2+ years of work experience in a professional service related to analytics or operations, preferably in a quantitative role.
- Fluency in using Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, analysis, charting, and automation.
- Enthusiasm for working with numbers and discovering the business stories within them.
- Strong attention to detail and able to prioritize tasks, multitask and manage time effectively.
- Experience dealing with large datasets.
- Problem solving skills - Ability to identify holes in data and provide reporting solutions.
- Critical thinking skills -Capable of generating consistent and accurate reporting results.
