For our Client in Zion, we are seeking General Education Teachers who want to make a profound difference in the lives of students by empowering them to succeed and achieve their dreams.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning
* Demonstrate the ability to participate in a collaborative learning environment as well as participate in professional growth activities.
* Build positive relationships with students and families in an urban education environment.
* Coordinate knowledge of content, of students, and of resources to design a series of learning experiences aligned to instructional outcomes and suitability to groups of students.
* Cultivate a learning environment that promotes cultural relevance, diversity of thinking, diversity of learning, and respect for all people (students and adults).
* Create a safe learning environment that is able to establish clear and high expectations for learning.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
* Commitment to and experience working with underserved communities (preferred)
* Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
