Job Description

Diversified Sourcing Solutions is looking for outgoing General Laborers for our client in South Houston. As a General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various tasks within our organization while effectively communicating. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of duties, from assisting with assembly line production to performing warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

General Labor Tasks: Assist with various tasks such as assembly line production, packaging, sorting, and loading/unloading materials or products.
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and accuracy of work by following established procedures and guidelines.
Inventory Management: Assist with inventory tracking, stock replenishment, and maintaining organized warehouse spaces.
Equipment Operation: Operate basic machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, following proper training and protocols.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Problem-Solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues as they arise, seeking guidance from supervisors when needed.
Customer Service: Assist customers or clients as required, utilizing your language skills to ensure clear and effective communication.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets and meet project deadlines.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, inventory transactions, and any incidents or concerns reported.

Requirements:.

Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working in various environmental conditions.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as directed by supervisors or production schedules.
Reliability: Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions accurately and pay attention to detail to ensure the quality and accuracy of work.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and customers from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a general labor or warehouse environment is preferred but not required.
Certification or training in forklift operation, safety protocols, or other relevant areas is a plus.
Additional languages spoken beyond English and Spanish may be advantageous depending on the organization's needs.

Compensation:

$12
