Job Summary:

The Gift Shop Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation of the Gift Shop & Perks Premium Coffee & Gifts of their respectful shift in accordance with managements directives and policies and procedures.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Supervises shift ensuring cashiers and baristas are following policy and procedures.
  • Assists with personnel actions such as hiring; promotions; transfers; discharges; disciplinary measures; performance evaluations; and training of new and current employees.
  • Assists in maintaining inventory pars for both Gift Shop & Perks.
  • Assists in executing month end inventory. Researching and resolves any inventory variances.
  • Fills in for Cashier and or Baristas when needed.
  • Ensures personnel maintain proper customer/employee relations and handles any customer complaints.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must possess excellent management skills.
  • Two years retail management experience preferred.
  • Must be available to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and Holidays.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures used in Retail Services required.
  • Must have POS experience.
  • Must be able to complete Nestle (Starbucks)Training Modules
  • Must be able to obtain New Mexico liquor server license & Food Handlers Certificate.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission non-key gaming license.
  • A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the companys choice, through a payroll deduction program.
  • All employees are required to proficiently use a smartphone for company applications, email, and text.

  • POS system
  • Smartphones, computers, laptop computers, and other traditional office equipment as required.
