Overview

Vista Community Clinic is a private, non-profit, multi-specialty outpatient clinic providing care in a comprehensive, high quality setting. Responsibilities

Greet patients and other visitors to the clinic, conduct initial screening, take temperature, and provide assistance to patients with scheduling and giving directions to appropriate clinic.

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional manner
  • Review scheduled appointments for patients coming into the clinic and assist with scheduling
  • Conduct initial health screening
  • Take and record temperatures
  • Assist patients with form pickup and drop-off
  • Direct patients to appropriate department
  • Assist with disinfecting clinics
  • Work with staff to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner
  • Provide lunch/illness/vacation coverage as needed
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature review, in-service meetings and workshops
  • Support the vision, mission and goals, and demonstrate a commitment to the values, of the organization
  • Perform other duties as directed
Qualifications

Minimum

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months work experience in a customer service environment
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Flexibility in work schedule as needed
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills necessary for communication with patients/clients, providers and other staff
  • Ability to interface with all social, cultural and ethnic backgrounds, and levels of personnel in a professional manner
  • Excellent customer service skills and commitment to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Ability and willingness to meet the organizations attendance and dress code policies
  • Ability to handle confidential materials and information in a professional manner
