Position Summary: The Group Product Manager will be accountable for collaborating cross-functionally to set and execute the strategy for a portfolio of products and will lead and develop other product managers. Additionally, the Group Product Manager will be a key contributor to the definition and development of our product innovation culture. This leader will bring creative thinking, insatiable curiosity, deep compassion for customers and teammates, and a relentless desire for delivering game-changing outcomes for our customers and our business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a Product Management team focused on conceiving, building, and launching customer-focused, high-quality products
  • Collaborate with technology, design, marketing, and business leaders to define our product vision and strategy across your product areas and deliver tangible business outcomes
  • Hire, coach, and grow a team and help them reach their potential
  • Execute efficiently and manage your team effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Develop detailed documentation, manage backlogs, and effectively prioritize in ways that maximize business outcomes and team engagement
  • Communicate clearly with your team and everyone at the company to continuously improve how we work together and ensure everyone is engaged, productive, and operating with our customers interests front and center
  • Develop strong, collaborative, and trusting cross-functional relationships across organizations and job functions
  • Support go-to-market teams with product launch, marketing, sales, and other customer engagement activities
  • Ensure problem resolution and enhancement support for production applications is well-defined and well-managed
  • Manage vendor relationships and/or resources as needed

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Management Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years product management experience in a professional environment supporting multi-function project teams designers, software engineers, and QA
  • Experience with agile implementation methodologies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and experience with collaborative application development platforms like Azure DevOps or JIRA
  • Development or design experience a plus

SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:

The successful candidate will possess software development and business process experience, leadership and management expertise, analytical and critical thinking skills, and attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Experience supporting multi-function product development teams with at least 5-10 team members including designers and developers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to flex communication style with technical and non-technical users; communication can motivate teams, drive organizational alignment, and influence internal and external audiences
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills; self-motivated and reliable, drive to hit performance targets in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly accountable, efficient, and outcome-driven through rigorous execution
  • Strong collaborative skills with an ability to effectively communicate with both technical teams and non-technical business users/leaders
  • Strong and focused leader, team player and consensus builder
  • Ability to sift through details quickly and determine whats important
  • Highly proficient with experimentation and launch of major features
  • Experience working through ambiguity, challenging the status quo, and making tough and well-reasoned decisions
  • Hungry to learn and teach the product innovation craft, including the methodologies, mindset, and tools needed to deliver customer value in innovative and delightful ways
  • Highly compassionate for customers and team members
