Viceroy Snowmass, located in Snowmass Village, CO is looking for a Sales Manager to join our team. If you enjoy working as a part of a team and have a motivated and positive attitude, we would love to meet you!

Essential duties include:

• Achieves a minimum of 100% of revenue and loyalty goals as established by management.
• Direct Sales: Targets results oriented high revenue potential partnerships domestically and internationally to ensure successful direct sales program, in accordance with goals established by department budget and sales/marketing plan.
• Key Wholesale Account Management: Maximizes current key accounts by identifying and capturing those that offer revenue growth. Manage tracking of all wholesale contracts and wholesale and travel agent databases.
• Schedules and coordinates wholesale and travel agents site visits to include transportation, amenity delivery, coordination with other resort partners and maintains comp stay request logs.
• Prepares sales presentations and educational materials to be used in wholesale and travel agent training and communications.
• Provide support in responding to incoming wholesale reservations leads whether by phone or electronic with the highest level of professionalism.
• Develops client profiles and maintains an effective trace system, including trace dates and references, to best meet client needs, resulting in superior account service and increased revenues.
• Participates in trade shows and community and professional organizations to maintain high visibility and the achievement of sales and revenue goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round, Exempt

Schedule: Flexible schedule, some nights, weekends and holidays required

Pay Rate: $62,000 annually

• Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university in hospitality management or business or like asset; OR six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years combined experience as a Sales Manager or in a related position in a luxury vacation rental or hotel company preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements and translating these into sales solutions.
• Track record of leading and inspiring teams to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Ability to be assertive and persuasive without being aggressive.
• Track record of developing long term relationships and contacts.
• Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.
• Strong organizational skills including follow up, time management, ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptionally strong ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, with guests and employees, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and to collect accurate information and to resolve problems.
• Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
• Ski Resort experience preferred
