Job Description

Guest Teacher/Substitute

This flexible part-time as needed position provides instruction to students by facilitating established lesson plans. Manages the classroom effectively, and supervises students at all times.


Compensation:

  • $160.00 per day.
  • $80.00 half day (up to 4 hours)
  • $180.00 per day after 20 consecutive days in the same assignment


Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid IVP Arizona fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Valid Arizona teaching or Substitute Certificate
  • Proof of MMR immunization required unless born prior to January 1, 1957

A substitute certificate can be obtained if you have a Bachelor’s degree in any area.

  • Resume
  • College transcript
  • One recent (within five years) signed professional letter of reference 


Once the required application materials are submitted, you will be scheduled to meet with HR and additional documents/information will be required to complete the hiring process.

Guest Teachers/Substitutes are required to attend an orientation during the school year.
