Job Description

We are a not-for-profit services Association focusing on mission driven initiatives, with a vision of building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities throughout 7 Texas Counties. Our organization is home to the largest school-age child care provider in Williamson County as well as health and fitness programs that improve the quality of life for over 45,000 members ranging from preschool through senior citizens.

The CHASCO YMCA in Round Rock is looking for gymnastics instructors for its recreational gymnastics program (preschool and school aged). Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic, and dependable. A background in teaching gymnastics, tumbling, or cheerleading is preferred, but not necessary. Candidates must enjoy working with children and have a positive attitude! We offer excellent training and pay. A great work environment makes this a great opportunity. Immediate openings are available for qualified individuals.

Open Positions CHASCO Location:

  • 4 Positions- Pre-School Instructors- Must be able to work at least one of these shifts: Mon, Tues, Wed or Thurs 8:30am-12pm.
  • 1 Positions- Pre-School Instructors- Must be able to work Saturdays 8:30am-1:15pm
  • 2 Positions- Evening School Aged Instructors- Must be able to work at least one of these shifts: Mon, Tues, Wed or Thurs 4:15pm-6:15pm.

Open Positions HUTTO Location:

  • 1 Position- Morning Pre-School Instructor- Monday Mornings (This could expand to additional days)
  • 1 Position- Evening School Age Instructor- Thursdays 4pm-6:30pm

Job responsibilities include:

  • Oversee daily class routines, attendance, and schedules.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to all participants.
  • Establish and implement ongoing communication with families.


Job requirements include:

  • Coach YMCA of CHASCO recreational classes.
  • Oversee progress of designated students.
  • Demonstrates strong spotting skills or expresses willingness to learn how to spot.
  • Ability to relate well to children and teens.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative coaching atmosphere.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and respectful attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative, caring, committed
  • Desire to continuously learn and improve
