Handyman / Carpenter (Senior & Assistant)

Earn $17-$30 per hour
House Doctors Handyman of Butler County is now hiring for both an Assistant and Senior Handyman / Carpenter Technicians. We have full and part time openings available for individuals who possess nothing but the highest of quality and customer relations skills. Our technicians show up on time, are customer focused, work independently and have the ability to estimate small jobs. IMPORTANT: Each candidate must have a clean driving record, a valid OH drivers license, pass a background check and be willing to submit to drug testing at any time.
Experience: We require our Handyman / Carpenter Assistants to have at least 1 year of relevant work experience and our Senior Handyman / Carpenters to have at least 5-10 year of relevant work experience.
Skills required or will be learned:
- Carpentry Indoor and outdoor
- Drywall and painting repairs
- Tile installation and repair
- Minor plumbing and electrical repairs
- Window and Exterior door replacements
- Exterior siding (vinyl, aluminum, wood and PVC/MDF) and roofing repairs
- Minor framing repairs
- Small masonry repairs
- Flooring installations
- Small lighting installations
- Garage door system maintenance
Work Schedule: Our work schedule is Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. but our Junior Technicians must have the flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays when requested. All scheduling will be performed by our centrally located office where all technicians will be dispatched.
