Now Hiring Senior Skilled Carpenters / Craftsmen and Assistant Carpenters

Senior Carpenter / Craftsman Pay Range: $20-$25

Assistant Pay Range: $15-$18

House Doctors Handyman Services of Charleston is looking for both Assistant Carpenters and Senior Skilled Carpenters / Craftsmen who can perform a variety of duties that include carpentry, tile, painting, window and exterior door replacements, minor electrical, minor plumbing, drywall, interior door and trim installations, cabinet installations and other handyman type work as needed.

Our Carpenter Assistants will need some skills in the areas above, but will gain more experience by working with and assisting a team of Senior Skilled Carpenters /

Craftsmen. Assistants must be able to take direction and follow direction from our Senior Carpenters and Craftsmen.

Senior Carpenters/Craftsman Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years of renovation /remodeling experience. 10+ is preferred.
• Own a basic set of tools for the job.
• Must be able to climb and work from ladders.
• Capable to work in crawl spaces
• Ability to lift 100 lbs.

Work Schedule: Our work schedule is Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. but our technicians must have the flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays when requested.
