Pay Range

$17. 32 - $22.28/hr

This is an intermediate level position that analyzes and re-analyzed records for completion and assists physicians with record completion. Assigns form identification (AFI) and/or performs quality control on scanned images to ensure the integrity of the image is legible, displayed accurately and linked to the correct patient's medical record number and account number in the electronic medical record. Monitors transcription QA hold queue and assign the correct patient ADT in a timely manner. Assists with answering phones and/or faxes and responds as appropriate. Meets qualitative and quantitative standards.

What You Bring/Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

• One year of health information management experience or completion of the RHIT certification in lieu of experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and troubleshooting computer problems
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
• High School Diploma or GED required

Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am - 5:30pm

Physical Requirements - Sedentary Work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert/lift up to 10 lbs. force occasionally
