Histology Technician - Full Time - Davis Hospital

Histology Technician

Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Laboratory Director and Lead Histologist, the Histology Technician is responsible for the performance of Histology procedures; to work together with the Laboratory Director, Pathologist, to provide prompt and accurate Histology testing for patients of our hospital and our surrounding community.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Laboratory Medicine preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree in Histology Laboratory Science or other related field preferred.
• American Society Clinical Pathologist Registered Histology Technologist or equivalent preferred.
