Job Description:

Under the leadership of the HIT Applications Manager, the Digital Health Lead Analyst is responsible for supporting all aspects of build, maintenance, break/fix and optimization in their assigned applications. This position collaborates with other application analysts, Digital Health Program Director, Clinical Informatics, Instructional Designers and users to maintain and optimize Montages electronic health record.

Lead Responsibilities for this Team include but are not limited to:

Backup role for the Ambulatory Application Manager Conduct monthly 1:1 with Digital Health analysts Primary liaison with the Digital Health Program Director Digital Health leader and advisor for the Ambulatory application team Secondary owner of the project database associated with Ambulatory and Digital Health entries Lead large project efforts Facilitate Digital Health analyst meetings Primary Digital Health Data Migration Advisory Board (DMAB) team representative Identify, develop, and implement standard operating procedures with process improvement for the team Adherence to Montage Standards of Leadership Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Mastering of assigned application(s) and applied workflows including clinical, technical and operational Expert in the development, testing, validation and maintenance of Epic build and workflows to support the Telehealth program Assist with the identification and development of digital health solutions that improve the patient experience, physician engagement and operational excellence Developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of complex clinical, technical and operational workflows to properly optimize the assigned application Provide support to end users for software implementations, updates, and new version releases and document project issues Complete testing and workflow validation of assigned applications and modifications before implementation into all environments Gathering end user requirements and evaluating complicated workflows by working directly with end users Attendee for Digital Health Steering Committee, MyChart Steering Committee and Joint Informatics Attendance and participation in Ambulatory Meetings Oversee implementation of upgrades and service updates Participate in on-call coverage rotation as assigned Follow team standard operating procedures, polices, and use organization standard templates May be called upon to be on-site or in the office up to 5 days a week

HIT departmental responsibilities

Maintaining focus on customer service and responsiveness Excellent communication both written and verbal Troubleshoot technical problems Master HIT tools, applications, and processes Maintain fluency in HIT and industry best practices, tools, applications, certifications and processes Follow departmental and organizational policies and procedures

Experience:

Required Experience:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • 5 years in a System Analyst or System Analyst II role

  • Previous hospital experience in a Digital Health role

  • EpicCare Ambulatory and MyChart applications

  • Project Management

  • Customer service

  • Microsoft Office products

Preferred Experience:

  • IT issue tracking software or "ticketing" systems (e.g. ServiceNow)

  • PMP Certification

  • Leading a group or team

Education:

Bachelors degree in healthcare, informatics, education, business, or information systems required. Equivalent experience may be substituted.

Licensure/Certification:

Required:

  • EpicCare Ambulatory and MyChart application certifications

Preferred existing certifications:

  • PMP Certification

  • ITIL

Epic certification(s) is required within 90 days of completion date of course and as required to support new versions.
