The Hospice LVN Admissions Coordinator position is open in our Ontario location. This is a Full-time position during our day shift from 9:00am to 6:00pm.
Requirements of the Hospice LVN Admissions Coordinator:
- Minimum one-year prior Admissions department experience (2+ preferred). Hospice experience preferred.
- Minimum one-year prior Managed Care Insurance eligibility, verification and authorization experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Working knowledge medical terminology.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- EMR system and Internet navigation experience; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite required. Data entry skills.
- Graduate from a school of vocational nursing having State accreditation at the time of graduation and possession of a current license to practice as a vocational nurse in California required.
