Job Summary:
As a Host/Hostess, you will set the tone of the dining experience by welcoming members and their guests upon arrival and escorting them to their table. To ensure maximum service to members and guests, you will oversee the activity of dining room employees.
Responsibilities:
As a Host/Hostess, you will set the tone of the dining experience by welcoming members and their guests upon arrival and escorting them to their table. To ensure maximum service to members and guests, you will oversee the activity of dining room employees.
Responsibilities:
- Creates floor plan layouts, assigns sections to servers, and allocates tables throughout the dining room to give the appearance of a well-filled establishment.
- Shows members and guests to their table and provides them with a menu and wine list.
- Informs server when they have a new table and ensures that the table is being serviced promptly.
- Thanks, departing members and guests for dining with us and ensures their satisfaction with the food and service.
Requirements:
- Availability: Flexible schedule with evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
- Requires occasional bending, lifting, stretching.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- May be required to climb step stools of a height of 4 feet.
- Must be capable of working under pressure.
