We are seeking an individual with High Standards in customer service to operate our 120 unit limited-service Best Western Hotel in San Diego. We are seeking a leader to keep our staff energized, have fun in the work place and pass that enthusiasm to our guests.

Requirements:

-2-5 experience in similar sized hotel as a general manager. Brand experience a plus

-Track record improving yield and building Revpar

-Comprehensive knowledge of the maintenance needs of a hotel

-Consistent Leadership and Mentoring Abilities

-Major focus on Revenue Management

-Major Focus on Group Sales and Bookings

-MUST be Bilingual (Spanish)

-Detailed knowledge of the San Diego Market

Business skills:

-Excellent time management skills

-Creativity

-Create courteous, friendly, professional but enjoyable work environment

-Forecasting skills

-Strong budgetary, projections and cost control skills. Payroll and some HR experience required

-Ability to create a positive atmosphere for both guests and staff

-Attention to details

Scope of this position:

-Position will be responsible for all operations and departments

-Must have experience at properties of similar size and quality

-Will be required to work nights, weekends and holidays when necessary

-Spanish language skills are mandatory

**Valid Drivers License and applicable insurance required
