About ORMC:

Odessa Regional Medical Center was founded in 1975 as Odessa Womens and Childrens Hospital. Through the years, the hospital grew and evolved into a full-service healthcare facility and the name was changed to Odessa Regional Medical Center to reflect its larger campus and more comprehensive services. The hospital has 225 beds and has approximately 250 physicians on staff and has over 700 employees.

Today, ORMC offers a wide spectrum of healthcare services, including advanced diagnostic imaging technology, emergency care, innovative surgical procedures, maternity care, comprehensive cardiac services and general medical care.

About the Shift:

About the Position:

The Nursing House Supervisor is responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of the total patient care services during his/her assigned shift. In the absence of the Administrator and/or designee, the Nursing House Supervisor has the authority and responsibility for administrative decisions and appropriate notification of the Administrator-on-Call. Provides service to age range from neonate to geriatric. Participates in Performance Improvement Activities.

Regulatory Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and holds current licensure in the state as a registered professional nurse.
  • Experience as a staff nurse and manager.
  • ACLS, TNCC, BLS, NRP
  • Certifications as indicated by the Steward Certification document.
