Housekeeper - Full time - Monday to Friday

Monday to Friday - 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Housekeepers perform routine cleaning for our residents homes and in other areas of our facility as well as other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor or their designee. The ideal candidate will be motivated and detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic and be a team player. Housekeepers that are assigned to the Float Pool are routinely scheduled to serve as relief workers in the absence of a regularly assigned Housekeeper. Some Housekeeping positions require working weekends.

• Previous experience in Hospitality or Healthcare housekeeping is preferred.
• Having good command of English is preferred due to the high amount of customer contact; you must be able to communicate effectively with residents and staff. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) ability is a plus.

Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of La Posada and its Environmental Services Department.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; push/pull equipment; use arm, leg, and back muscles for extended periods; use hands to finger; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear; and taste or smell.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
