Job Description

This position is responsible for providing entry-level clerical duties and support for the day to day Human Resources operations. This support is of limited complexity in administrative and analytical functions. All tasks and assignments will follow well-established procedures and will require judgement based on those established procedures in the execution of various tasks.

Some of the tasks include ( but are not limited to ):

  • Address general inquiries from outside candidates and internal employees
  • Confer with HR Specialist and Director about applicant status
  • Maintain resume data back, regret notification to applicants
  • Initiation of FMLA, STD, LTD paperwork to employees
  • Assist with posting jobs in the AACHC websites
  • Set-up mini- orientation, prepare orientation files for hires, coordinate electronic courses in Health Stream for new hires

Qualifications include: High School diploma or GED, at least six (6) months basic knowledge of HR practices and department functions, One (1) year experience in a clerical setting, payroll setting, or employment office.Knowledge of HRIS- ( Human Resources Information Systems). Understand and speak English and Spanish helpful.

Must be able to obtain a AZ State Fingerprint clearance card, if not already obtained. Must submit an application for this within 5 business days after employment. Must be able to successfully pass a background check and health and drug screen.
