Job Summary:

The Division of Member and Provider Services (DMPS) is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a HR Business Partner in our Business Support and Employee Services (BSES) Unit. is responsible for administrative actions of varied employee related functions in DMPS. Coordinating position description modifications and updates, and accounting for performance appraisals during the various collection periods, will be primary to this role. This position will conduct research and provide recommendations after analyzing data. Establish and revise forms and compose correspondence to and from BSES.

Job Duties:

* Maintain Position Descriptions as needed to keep the duties and responsibilities accurate to the current performance needs. Accountability coordinator for performance appraisal lifecycle.

* Provide BSES team with administrative support for recruitment and other behind the scenes tasks.

* Assists the BSES managers and personnel in preparing for audits or surveys and perform various research projects and/or special projects, and correspondence.

* Primary contact for employee questions and concerns via email, phone and in person. Advise managers and supervisors statewide of ADOA Personnel Rules, benefits coordination, AHCCCS Administrative Policies and Procedures, HR policies, rules and laws. Minimal HRIS entry and payroll (ETE) duties.

* Tracks all required monthly Productivity, Quality, and Timeliness communications.

* This position requires occasionally driving throughout the state with possible overnight stays. (Due to Covid-19 travel has been postponed for this position).

* Due to COVID-19 precautions the recruiting process has been adjusted to meet the standard health guidelines outlined by the State. Interviews will be conducted virtually and may also be by way of video conference utilizing a platform like Google Meet/Hangouts or Zoom.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

* Knowledge of Division policies and procedures, ADOA personnel rules, State employee handbook, Human Resources laws and rules.

* Computer systems to include HRIS, Talent Acquisition, performance management system, YES or other Employee Services system, Microsoft Office products or Google Docs.

* Job classification, job descriptions and compensation.

* Work well under pressure and have the capability to work discreetly with highly confidential information.

* Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.

* Partner with the client to understand their HR administrative requirements and provides solution-based consultation.

Selective Preference(s):

* Minimum of 1-3 years of HR or administrative support experience OR Associates degree.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Valid Arizona Driver's license
