Job Description

Working under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, is responsible for administrative support of day-to-day Human Resources department operations. Provides assistance to managers and employees regarding H.R. policies and procedures. Is primarily responsible for staff record maintenance, including tracking and maintaining employee data through the HRIS system. Works within strict deadlines to manage a large and varied workload using own initiative and time management skills.

All members of our team are expected to provide support and services in accordance with the Nine Guiding Principles for Recovery Oriented Adult Behavioral Health Services and Systems and practice in a manner that is consistently mindful of the 12 Principles of The Arizona Vision for Children.

REQUIREMENTS

Education, Certification, and Experience Requirements

  • Requires an associate degree in business, human resources or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • Two years experience preferred.
  • Must maintain a valid Arizona state fingerprint clearance card.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Knowledge, Ability, and Skills

  • Require thorough knowledge of the principles, practices and methods of human resources operations.
  • Requires knowledge of staff and organizational training needs, as well as internal and external training resources.
  • Must be able to multitask, solve problems, resolve conflict, and stay organized.
  • Must be able to maintain excellent employee relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to utilize multiple types of office equipment (i.e. phones, copier, fax, etc.)
  • Ability to type 25 to 50 WPM is preferred
  • Must be competent in Microsoft Office software
