Education requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
BA in HR or related field, S/PHR, SCP desired
Experience managing multiple open job requisitions at once
Understanding of compensation practices, employee relations, and performance management
Demonstrated success in all HR functions; must be able to execute flawlessly with limited staff
A results-driven individual that demonstrates strategic thinking, innovation, and flexibility
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Collaborative working style, detail- and goal- oriented, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail
SPHR/PHR/SCP, desired but not required
The ability to read, write and speak Spanish is a plus.
Experience requirements
5 to 10 years of experience in an HR Leadership position
Manufacturing experience, preferred

Responsibilities
Responsibilities: Under the general guidance of the CEO, the Head of HR, will identify, implement, and promote viable processes and policies which allow the Company to attract, retain and motivate human capital necessary to ensure the continued growth and success of the Company.
This role is responsible for the overall Human Resources function, including payroll, employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, training/development, and safety.
Skills
Primary duties and activities include the following:
Oversee and lead the Human Resources and Payroll functions.
Manage recruitment processes across all functional areas and organizational levels
Build and manage onboarding processes and practices
Establish and implement general compensation philosophy associated with organizational levels
Build and institutionalize Human Resource infrastructure and processes, including department accountability, employment processing, compensation, health and benefits and employee relations and retention policies and procedures
Provide proactive consultation to senior leadership with respect to talent acquisition, development, and retention
Analyze market trends and update compensation plans; establish clear guidelines for performance measurement by function and level
Establish performance management processes
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and work closely with the leadership team to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance
Review and oversee employee policies; ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulatory guidelines
Establish and maintain human resource metrics and analytics, particularly in talent acquisition and recruitment
Oversee compensation program and engage with the leadership team to tie performance to compensation
Manage third-party recruitment vendors and other talent partners as needed
Work hours
M-F, occasional evenings/weekends (rare)
