HRIS Support Specialist
Key Purpose
The HRIS Support Specialist will report to the HRIS Team Leader and will assist with the administration and support of the HRIS systems, in accordance with the HR policies, processes and procedures for all of ISS in the US and Canada. This resource will be responsible for analyzing, researching, testing, and implementing changes to our existing systems and assisting in responding to requests for data and information. This role requires communication, collaboration and teamwork with the HRIS department as well as other departments as it will support a variety of areas and functions across the business.
Key Areas of Responsibility, Collaboration and Influence
- Assists with the management and oversight of existing HRIS functionality, as well as the testing and implementation of new functionality and updates
- Proposes and implements process improvements to ensure accurate, compliant and efficient HR practices
- Reviews, audits and analyzes data to ensure integrity across HRIS and Payroll platforms and assists with correcting the data when issues are discovered Provides HRIS functional and systems support to all departments across the organization including, but not limited to Legal, P&C and HR Business Partners
- Assists with the HRIS systems by providing support in the areas of development, testing, training, and implementation
- Responds to support requests in accordance with our service level agreements
- Assists with HR projects and initiatives that promote and support operational excellence
- Assists with global HRIS initiatives
- When system issues arise, assists with the investigation to identify the root cause, produces written and verbal summary of findings, recommends updates to fix the issue and works with the HRIS team to implement changes as quickly as possible
Education, Experience & Skills Required
- A minimum of 1+ years of HRIS work experience
- A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or another related field or equivalent related experience is preferred
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving, analytical and customer service skills
- Experience with HRIS and Payroll systems, preferably SuccessFactors, JDE, DailyPay, Paradox or other similar systems highly preferred
- Ability to plan, coordinate and execute projects as well as organize and prioritize work in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of organizational and HR data is a must
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time

comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The annual salary range for this position is $27.13 per hour - $32.89 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
