Course: Human Development

This course provides an understanding of the nature and needs of individuals across the life-span development. This course covers physical, cognitive, and socioemotional development across various points in human development. Additionally, students learn about the influence of spiritual and moral beliefs throughout the life span.

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the Universitys Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

*Professional or Teaching experience required

  • Preferred: Counseling Education OR
    • Counseling OR
    • Social Work OR
    • Marriage and Family Therapy OR
    • Behavioral Health OR
    • Mental Health OR
    • Clinical Psychology OR
    • Counseling Psychology
  • AND Associate or Independent Level License in Counseling OR
    • Social Work OR
    • Psychology
  • AND a minimum of 1 year of field related experience
  • Minimum: Masters degree in the above areas
  • AND Associate or Independent level license in the above areas
  • AND a minimum of 2 years of field related experience
