JOB SUMMARY |
The Human Resources Business Partner Regional is responsible for overseeing and applying business knowledge and human resources expertise over several branch locations across a region. Will assist with providing a wide range of HR support and advice and will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on Performance Management, Employee Relations, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives, Coaching and Mentoring on common HR policies, procedures and best practices, all while driving employee engagement. |
KEY ROLES (Essential Job Reponsiblitlies) |
- Trains, coaches and supports management in Human Resources policies, procedures and best practices
|
- Participates in the development and implementation of organizational strategic plan
|
- Assists with presenting New Hire Orientations, HR trainings and at All Staff meetings, as appropriate
|
- Assists with Employee Relations and investigations, as needed
|
- Assists with creating and guiding management on corrective action steps and process, terminations and exit interviews
|
- Assists with identifying and analyzing HR trends within their region
|
- Partners with regional Area Directors to support staff growth and org-wide initiatives while holding staff accountable to their roles
|
- Assists with the roll out and of Org-wide HR surveys, recognition/rewards, career development, succession planning and annual mandatory HR trainings such as Anti-Harassment, DEI Training, Rules of Engagement
|
- Enforces timelines and timeframes of Annual HR related trainings, projects and surveys
|
- Works alongside the Human Resources Generalist to ensure all the HR functions are being handled in a timely manner and provides support, as needed
|
- Attends monthly/quarterly Operations meetings, as appropriate
|
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, LICENSURE and CERTIFICATION |
- Must possess Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of progressive HR related experience
- Must have and maintain a valid Arizona drivers license

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY and SKILLS |
- Working knowledge of federal and state laws and company policies and procedures
- Familiarity with policies, procedures and best practices
- Knowledge of current regulatory requirements and best practices in Human Resources
- Demonstrated ability to assess and support long term organizational strategies
- Strong administrative, organizational and communication skills
- Proficient skills in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to maintain and respect confidentiality in all interactions Organizational-wide
- Ability to articulate for giving, serve as an ambassador, engage in relationship building and promote philanthropy
- Ability to support the efficiency of Volunteers and future workforce needs to support volunteer program operations

WORKING CONDITIONS and DRIVING |
- Travel between Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley sites, schools, various field trip sites, and within the community is required. Must meet the insurance standards of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley
- Work is primarily performed in the Club and local community
- Evening hours and weekend hours as needed
