**Sign-on incentives offered up to $5000 (amount varies with position)**

The Human Resource Generalist will complete a variety of tasks to support the daily functions of the Human Resources Department.

Essential Responsibilities:

Manage HRIS system records and update employee records effectively ensuring files reflect updated policy acknowledgements, updated employment required information (fingerprint clearance cards, liability insurance, licensures, performance evaluations, job descriptions, etc.).

Assist with the new hire orientation and onboarding process.

Prepare and compile reports from HRIS system needed for management, audits, benefits, payroll, quality, etc.

Maintain the companies Fingerprint Clearance Card program. Communicate to employees to ensure timely fingerprint renewals.

Act promptly and thoroughly when receiving and addressing employee needs.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Reviews policies and procedures to maintain compliance.

Builds sustainable relationships and trust with your HR team, other departments within the company, and all EMPACT employees through open and interactive communication.

Provide information and support to employees regarding their Benefit options, explaining the basics of the benefit products offered by the company.



Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.

Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

Ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships with many different departments.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or GED.

Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.

Minimum of two years experience in Human Resource field.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The typical work environment will either be in an EMPACT office, working indoors or working remote from home.

Employees must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
