Job Description

General Description:

This position is a paid internship for the summer of 2021. The key objectives include supporting Human Resources projects around our completion of new handbook, simplification of performance management process and assistance of critical 80-recruiting/engagement projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Work with the Human Resources team to develop the updated Employee Handbook for all states within ITW Medical. After the handbook, and appropriate addendums are developed, partner with HRD on effectively communicate across the US locations.

Review and simplify our hourly/salaried global performance management process, including payment of merits and bonuses payment.

Assist with recruitment of hourly/salaried positions.

Assist with coordination of division wide engagement activities.

Qualifications

3rd or 4th year Student pursuing a Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business Administration Degree.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Self-motivated with a high attention to detail

Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision required.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crawl; and talk or hear.

The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
