Essential Functions:
1 Installs, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and performs scheduled routine preventive maintenance.
2 Checks, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes and other functional components of the system.
3 Installs, maintains, and repairs refrigeration systems including, refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, dispensers, dietary equipment, heaters, air curtains, vent hoods, etc., and performs scheduled routine preventive maintenance.
Secondary Functions:
1 Follows all applicable regulatory agency policies, guidelines, and codes
2 Performs all work in accordance with established safety policies and procedures.
3 May operate a computer, telephone, television and maintenance tools and equipment
4 All other duties required or assigned by management
Qualifications:
Education/Skills: High school graduate/GED. Two (2) years vocational school and/or similar trade.
NIMS training within (6) months.
Licensure: Holds appropriate licenses: EPA 608 Type I & 2 or Universal required.
Experience: Minimum 2 years HVAC/ Refrigeration experience preferred.
