Imaging Receptionist (TEMPORARY, FT)

Full -time, temporary Imaging Receptionist

This position is responsible for organization of the front office activity and workflow. Performs general clerical and workflow functions to include patient scheduling. Releases patient medical information under HIPPA guidelines. Answers telephone and provide appropriate information. Properly inputs outpatient information into the CPSI system.

Education: High School graduation with medical terminology and anatomy background. College background in allied health preferred.

Training and Experience: Minimum requirement of at least 1 year of working in the allied health field.Personality and the ability to work with various hospital departments, and the general public are required. Knowledge of radiology exam protocols and preparations.

Licenses/Certifications: Maintenance of current CPR or BLS

Compensation: $16.00/hr - $17.60/hr, depending on experience.

Medical, dental, vision, health care FSA, and dependent care FSA: All active employees working 40 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days of active service. PRN staff are not initially eligible for benefits, and GVH follows all Affordable Health Care Act Eligibility guidelines.
