About this opportunity:
Albion Staffing Solutions is looking for an Import Operations Clerk to work at our client site in Lake Worth, FL. Maintain all aspects of the import shipment process ( air, LCL, FCL) from beginning to end. Including but not limited to, quoting, booking, contacting shippers, arranging recovery, providing dock receipts, documentation for MBL/HBL, SLI and import customs clearance submission to US Customs, sending pre-alert notification, billing, all communication to customers including updating customers/agents and following up until confirmation of shipment release/delivery.

Daily functions:

• Will assist in all operations administration duties for all -LCL, IMPORTS
• Experience with Outlook is a must -- Handle 100-150 emails a day
• Will manage up to 300 containers a month
• Must be good with numbers as this job involves a lot of rate calculations
• Input ISF details and process pre-alerts with brokers
• Work with our customs broker to ensure timely clearance prior to arrival
• Track shipments (via web) from port to door
• Process dispatch paperwork when cargo is ready for final delivery
• Invoice upon confirmation of departure from origin port

Competitive hourly pay rate, 100% paid medical benefits (employee only) after 90 day probation is met, 3% company contribution to 401K, PTO and vacation accruals.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 9 am to 6 pm

Workplace Location:
Applicants will work in the customer's facility - located in the Lake Worth, FL.
