The Ind Engineer III - Labor Management Systems is responsible for the configuration and use of labor management tools and techniques across the distribution network to increase labor productivity, including the development of best practices for warehouse processes, engineered standards, and using information to inform and motivate operational leaders to increase warehouse productivity.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The points below highlight the Ind Engineer III - LMS duties:

Establishes labor standards or reasonable expectancies and maintains labor management system (RedPrairie) to ensure accurate goal times for warehouse jobs

Identifies savings opportunities and defines process improvement projects to drive costs out of operations

Creates and maintains informational and graphical reports that can be used by the field operations to drive labor productivity

Works with warehouse operations teams to educate on how standards work and how to use the labor-management information to increase productivity

Participates in the implementation of new business initiatives by assisting initiative owner with data collection and analyzes initiatives to anticipate possible roadblocks and identify possible solutions

Conducts root cause analysis and develops data analysis tools, i.e. labor planning, slotting, etc. to assist operation management

What projects will you work on in this role?

You will design and perform operational audits to determine distribution center site preparedness for productivity initiatives. You will develop, implement, and track productivity targets for each account in perspective regions.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering or a related field of study from a 4-year accredited College or University

Minimum 4 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum 2 years of experience using engineered work measurement methods (such as MOST, MSD, Time Study, MTM)
