Maintenance Assistant

Under the supervision of the lead mechanic the ideal candidate will provide maintenance support on production and related support equipment.

Assist operators and packer with placement of raw materials and machine adjustments.

Assist Mechanic as necessary to ensure minimal machine downtime

Assist in training of mechanics

Perform mechanical tasks: Welding, Pipefitting, General millwright, operate lathe machine, perform Minor, electrical and troubleshooting.

Complete and update machine logs

Build and or repair machinery or update as required

Experience with tools, equipment, use lathe, mill, Measuring tape, tape machine

Follow safety and company guidelines and OSHA standards
