Job Summary - CORRECTIONAL HEALTH
A professional registered nurse who, under the supervision of the Infection Control Manager, assists with functions required developing and implementing an effective Infection Control Program.
Minimum Qualifications
Degree: Bachelor's, B.S. Nursing
License/Certification: Current valid Texas RN nursing license, Basic CDC or APIC Infection Control Training
Work Experience: Two (2) years clinical experience; Two (2) years infection control experience preferred
Management Experience: Two (2) years management experience preferred
Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)
Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking)
Writing/Composing, Correspondence, Reports
Proficiencies: CRT, P.C. Typing

Work Schedule: Flexible, Weekdays,Travel, On Call, Eligible for Telecommute

Other Requirements: Ability to collect, compile and interpret data. Self-organizational skills, requires minimal supervision. Basic knowledge of Infection Control Procedures. Familiar with Quality Improvement/Utilization Management functions and external regulatory agency requirement. Basic knowledge of Microsoft functions.
