Key responsibilities include:
* Performs research and analysis of integrated healthcare data, interprets results.
* Defines requirements and solutions to support file feeds (extracts and data loads)
* Develops and participates in presentations and consultations to existing and prospective constituents on information services, capabilities and performance results.
* Turns analysis into business/customer solutions.
* Responsible for project commitments to quality and on-time deliverables.
* Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects concurrently
* Ability to understand and probe into technical details.
* Acts as technical liaison between the health plan and the state regulator and/or vendors.
* Creates and evaluates the data needs of assigned projects and assures the integrity of the data.
* Makes recommendations about data collection methods, metrics definition and evaluation methods.
* Under general direction, independently executes analyses or reports to meet project needs.
* Candidate must have basic understanding of agile model.
* Strong organizational and documentation skills.
* Ability to network well across segment and centralized functions
Required Qualifications
* Demonstrated knowledge of file feeds, layouts, and data security protocols
* Knowledge of Medicaid
* Understanding of relational databases, data systems and data warehouses.
* Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations to drive business solutions.
* Ability to communicate technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in written and verbal form.
* Intermediate SQL programming abilities, including creation of test scripts to validate successful data loads
* Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams.
* Strong problem solving skills and critical thinking ability.
Preferred Qualifications
* Familiar with Aetna ASDB and MDW Reporting tables
* Experience with QNXT
* Responsible for the successful design and delivery of complex analyses and reporting solutions to meet business needs. Interacts directly with internal customers and colleagues in the development of reporting and analytic solutions. Acts as a project lead for complex projects involving multiple resources and tasks.
