Job Opportunity - Injection Molding Manager

Lancaster, TX

The Injection Molding Manager is responsible for optimizing and improving the injection molding processes, which includes set up, testing, and implementing new injection molding processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness as well as maintenance.

Ensure efficient execution of production schedules to maintain on time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Continuously improve and ensure best safety practices, production methods, equipment performance, and quality.

Direct Reports: 4 Supervisors

Indirect: 80 Production Operators

24 hour Operation

In this role you will troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the molding process and work closely with production teams to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and training to technicians on best practices and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with the ability to work seamlessly with team members of all departments and levels. Other requirements of this position include:

Experience with plastics engineering and operations management, required.
3-5 years of practical work experience in an Injection Molding Operation.
Have broad knowledge and experience in plastics materials, tooling, equipment, materials, manufacturing, and quality.
An understanding of statistical analyses and techniques for process improvement and operational cost reductions.
Ensure efficient execution of production schedules to maintain on time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Have experience working under a QMS/ISO 9001 business quality system.

Compensation: $80k - $100K
