- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to monitor and supervise small and large groups of students in a positive manner.
- Ability to follow directions and school procedures from Principal and designated staff.
- Effective communicator and work cooperatively with others.
- Knowledge of and adherence to all policies, regulations and rules.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Prefer First Aid and/or CPR certification.
- Must pass a background clearance.
- Must obtain an Arizona IVP Clearance Card
- Supervise students and assist in the cafeteria during lunch and/or recess.
- Accepting responsibility for students well being and safety, as the fundamental value in decision making, while they are in employees care.
- Performing all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed by the supervisor.
- Provide excellent customer service skills to students, employees and community.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with children in a patient, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.
- Demonstrate interest in the nutrition and enthusiasm for school lunch menu items.
- Encourage and support healthy eating during lunch through interaction with students.
- Regulate and assist student traffic in an efficient, orderly manner.
- Prevent and subdue disorderly behavior, refer disciple problems to the administrator.
- Oversee that children clear tables and dispose of trash in proper receptacles.
- Wipe and sanitize all tables before, during and after each lunch period. Assist in cleaning the floor.
- Perform all duties in a safe and prudent manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Information:
JOB GOAL:
To assist in the maintenance of an orderly, safe and pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria and playground by helping and supervising students during lunch periods.
QUALIFICATIONS:
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 180 Days; 9 Months
COMPENSATION: $15.43-$18.21
BENEFITS: As per District policy
REPORTS TO: Principal
HOURS: 12.5 hours per week - Monday-Friday 10:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m.
CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, Non-exempt
