Instructional Assistant needed for long term, full time classroom employment opportunities.
We are seeking experienced paraprofessionals to work in elementary school settings Monday-Friday through May. Schedule will be 8am-3pm less 30 minutes for lunch. Current open positions will start as soon as possible. Fall placements will be made in June 2021 for August start date for 2021/2022 SY.
Instructional Assistants work with students 1:1 and/or in small groups under the supervision of certified teacher; maintains a safe and positive learning environment; follows IEP and behavior plans; clean and organize classroom as needed; implement lesson plan including distributing material; assist students in understanding assignments and projects; supervise children in classroom, on playground, during breaks and field trips while in-person (virtually, at the moment); must be able to communicate well with teachers, parents and through charting. Must be dependable, punctual and be able to work Monday-Friday.
Job requirements include current CPR, First Aid, Fingerprint clearance card, complete Dependable Staffing employment application and new hire process including CPI training with approved instructor.
