Major/Essential Functions
  • Provides clinical services and teaching of diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology
  • Mentors and instructs residents, fellows, and medical students in research projects
  • Lectures and holds conferences and participates in related meetings and school functions
  • Initiates or participates in scholarly activities of the Department of Radiology
  • Participates in committees and other administrative duties, as assigned by the department chair
  • Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibilities
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations

Required Qualifications
  • MQs
  • M.D. or D.O. Degree
  • Successful completion of one of the following interventional radiology training pathways: (a) an ACGME accredited diagnostic radiology residency program and an interventional radiology fellowship program; or (b) an ACGME accredited integrated interventional radiology residency program
  • Texas medical license or eligibility for licensure
