Major/Essential Functions
  • Provides patient care in the areas of physical medicine and rehabilitation in hospital and outpatient settings
  • Instructs and supervises medical students and surgery residents
  • Performs EMG/nerve conduction studies, ultrasound guided procedures, fluoroscopy guided procedures, injections of the spine/joints, nerve stimulators and blocks
  • Conducts clinical research and/or produces scholarship related to physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as trauma
  • Ensures compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
  • Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Statement of Faculty Professional Responsibility

Preferred Qualifications
  • Board certification in physical medicine and rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Strong work ethics
  • Experience in teaching students and residents
  • Experience in conducting research and publishing scientific reports
  • Emerging or established regional and national reputation for the rank of associate professor or higher
