CVS Health, a Fortune 5 company, is offering an exciting opportunity to be part of our Benefit Verification team in our Redlands, California location!
A Benefit Verification Representative will provide excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals and insurance carriers. As part of this role you will verify insurance coverage for both new and existing patients in order to process patient prescription orders in a timely manner. This position requires strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and a performance-driven individual.
Our current hours of operation are 8:30am-8:30pm. Shifts can vary anytime in between those hours. During the training period, you will be given a set schedule, but must be open to working anytime in between those hours to be qualified. The training/nesting period will last 4 weeks.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision insurance as well as a wide-ranging list of supplemental benefits and discount programs. In addition to sixteen paid days off for employees, we also offer ten paid holidays.

Required Qualifications
6 months of experience with one of the following: medical insurance, benefits verification, medical billing or related health insurance field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pharmacy experience
- Previous experience working with Prior Authorizations
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third party vendors
Education
- Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required
