Job Description
The Integration Engineer works closely with business teams to understand requirements, design and develop solutions that optimize business processes and empower employees and customers to provide best in class services. This position will be on the Business Systems team which non-customer facing applications and systems along with all the integration between those systems. The candidate will need to be able to work on many systems including, but not limited to, Dynamics AX 2012 (soon to be D365), SFTP, Windows Servers, Visual Studio, Bitbucket, Azure, AWS, Salesforce, etc. The candidate should be able to effectively communicate with internal and external users related to designing, troubleshooting, and delivering solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, implement and maintain business solutions that fall under your responsibility.
Form a partnership with the Department primary stakeholders to understand their processes. Collaborate to design and develop solutions to meet or ideally exceed their needs.
Participate and advise as a member of larger project teams.
Work alongside other team members, Engineers and Business Analysts, to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
Follow corporate and department culture standards and procedures.
Write and maintain technical documentation. Follow and document change management process.
Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about systems.
Train end users and technical support staff on how to use systems.
Job Specifications
Strong skills required in the following programming technologies: C#, MS SQL (T-SQL), HTML, JavaScript, XML
Skills desired in following technologies: AJAX, XSLT, AngularJS, Visual Basic, ASP MVC, Salesforce APEX
Experience with DevOps and experience building and deploying infrastructure with cloud deployment technologies like VSTS, AWS, Azure, BitBucket, TeamCity, Git etc
Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
Technically savvy approach with self-motivation and flexibility.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
